Presently, Maplestory M Mesos is in a closed beta period while the final kinks are ironed out, ready for everyone to dip in. While it was possible to sign up to the closed beta, the time to do so has passed.

The alternate option to dive in today was to catch a Creator's Pack, which basically grants you Historical Access with a few additional, bonus material, too.

Therefore, if you are wanting to play MapleStory 2, you are probably going to just need to sit tight and wait for the official release, which unfortunately, has not yet been confirmed. With a little bit of luck, it'll fall sooner in 2018 rather than later, but at most, it's about five months off. In the meantime, you can check out MapleStory M which just started on mobile devices to tide you over.

MapleStory M allows you to choose the experiences with you on the move, being the very first phone entry in the set. Players can make their own personalities, select their own classes, and choose which quests they would like to perform with. That being said, you have the option to change how your hero looks in the game, so that they are not wandering around with faces that are generic. Here is the way to change your character's appearance in Guide For Game.

Before you officially start your travels in MapleStory M, you'll be able to design your own personality. While the options are limited, you can correct how they look and select from far better options later on in the game. Once you unlock the menu, click on it in the top right corner of this display. You will pull up a listing of alternatives, but you want to click the Character tab in the upper left side using a helmet marker. Once you click , a second row of tabs will appear under, and from there, you would like to click Hair/Plastic Surgery.
